The Portland Injury Attorney Blog educates people about what to do after an Oregon car, bike, or pedestrian accident. Our knowledgeable lawyers use these accidents, along with their experience with similar cases, to explain the law behind personal injury and then step accident victims and their families through the personal injury process and the injured person’s options from beginning to end. That includes filing a complaint, researching a lawyer, settling your claim, or going to trial.

New Law Prohibits Talking On Cell Phone or Texting While Driving

It is scheduled to go into effect Jan 1, 2010.  Gov. Kulongoski has not signed it yet, but his office says he will.

For more info, check out our recent library article and our letter to Rep. Tomei about her bill making it illegal to talk on a cell phone or text while driving.
