Names: Grace C. Throckmorton, Michael D. Backman

Grace C. Throckmorton, 23, of Portland, Oregon, died December 2, 2009, after she pulled her car into the path of a Jeep Cherokee driven by Michael D. Backman, 27, of Dayton. The accident occurred around 4:15 PM.

According to Salem-News.com,Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies said Throckmorton had been driving east on SW Bell Road, and was stopped at Highway 99W, trying to cross the highway.

Multi-Vehicle Crash Seriously Injures Clackamas Man | Portland Car Accident Lawyers

Names: Kenneth R. Laughton, Jr., Mykhaylo M. Zalozh

According to the Canby Herald Online, Kenneth R. Laughton, Jr., 50, of Clackamas, Oregon, was seriously injured when his SUV crossed the center line on Highway 99E north of South End Road, between Canby and Oregon City, and hit a commercial truck and trailer hauling a load of car batteries. The crash, which occurred October 23, 2009, around 2:35 PM, pinned Laughton inside his car for 45 minutes while fire crews worked to extricate him. The truck driver, Mykhaylo M. Zalozh, 39, of Southeast Portland, was not injured.

State Police Seek Vehicle of Interest After Fatal Pedestrian Crash | Oregon Injury Lawyers

Names: Mary Ann Bradford, William Blake

According to an Oregon State Police press release, Mary Ann Bradford, 42, whose last known residence was in Klawock, Alaska, died after she ran out onto Highway 34, about 100 yards west of I-5, in Linn County, Oregon, and was hit by a truck. Braddock may have been running from a disturbance at a nearby gas station when she ran into the highway around 6:05 AM, October 24, 2009. The driver of the truck, William Blake, 68, of Lebanon, was not injured.
